A limited edition etching on paper by American artist Allan Reid titled Alice Plays the Piano. This print depicts the titular character form Alice in Wonderland seated at a piano and playing from a book of sheet music. The notes she plays drift upwards like smoke and come together to form a fantastical castle with swirling walls and towers with roofs in the shape of mushroom caps. The lines throughout are wavy and loose. The piece is signed to the lower right, numbered ‘83/150’ to the lower center, and titled to the lower left. It is presented behind a mat and glass in a gold tone metal frame with wire to the verso for hanging.
