A limited edition engraving on paper titled Samson and Delilah from the Famous Loves series by well-listed Surrealist artist Salvador Dalí (1904-1989). This work depicts Samson aas he wrestles with a lion with the hands of Delilah caressing his hair. This piece is numbered 904 out of an edition of 1000. It is signed by hand to the lower right corner. This print is presented behind glass in a dark wood frame. Hanging hardware is present to the verso.

Dalí was born in Figueres, Spain to Salvador Dalí y Cusi, a lawyer and notary, and Felipa Domenech Ferres. His mother encouraged his artistic pursuits a eccentricities. In 1922 Dalí enrolled at the Academia de San Fernando in Madrid, Spain. It was during this time that he went to Paris started interacting with Picasso, Magritte, and Miro leading to his first Surrealist phase. Dalí is best known for his Surrealist painting, drawing, photography, and sculptures. His works are housed in many private collections and museums across the globe.
