A vintage cedar chest on stand by Tennessee Red Cedar and Novelty Company. This rectangular top piece with walnut stain features beveled edges and a lid top opening to a cedar lined interior. The chest features an escutcheon to the front panel and vertical rope trim. The chest sits on a stand with full length drawer featuring a recessed panel with brass drop handles and Knapp joinery. The stand rises on turned and tapering feet. The chest is marked ‘Tennessee Red Cedar and Novelty Company’ to the back.
