von Schierholz Hand-Painted Porcelain Candelabra

Item Details

A pair of hand-painted porcelain candelabra by von Schierholz of Germany. Each piece features three capitals with petal shaped drip pans and two scrolled arms on a cherub shaped column and a pierced dome base. The exterior are decorated with hand-painted gilded accents and relief flowers in yellow, pink, blue, and orange. The upper portions of the candelabra can be taken off of the base. The undersides are marked ‘Made in Germany’ along with the maker’s mark over ‘von Schierholz Handmalerei’.

Condition

- minor surface wear including marks and scratches; few places of chipping, notably on the relief decoration.
