A collection of hand-colored photographs on paper by American artist Wallace Nutting (1861-1941). These pieces depict serene landscapes including a lakeside view, a stream through fields of flowers and trees, a garden covered by a lattice arbor, and a dirt road along the edge of a body of water. Each print has had color applied and is signed to the lower right. They are presented beneath mats and glass in wood frames with hanging hardware to the versos.
Condition
- varying discoloration to paper and mats; broken glass removed from one frame; moderate wear to surface of all frames; wear and tears to versos.
