Item Details
An oil painting on board titled A Cold Trail by listed New York artist Harry Barton (1908 – 2001). The painting depicts a single file line of Native Americans making their way through the snowy landscape. The atmospheric work is loosely rendered in a muted palette. It is signed to the lower right, and is marked with a stamp from the artist’s estate to the verso. It is presented in a wood frame with a gold tone finish and is ready to hang with wire.

- accretion to surface of paint. Abrasions, stains and wear to frame finish.
