An antique Japanese Imari porcelain charger or plate. Hand-painted with a cobalt blue underglaze, this substantial plate features cartouche panels along the edge with images of flowers, birds, , lattice designs, and tress. The center of the plate features a floral motif. Incised with a mark in Japanese, the charger features a blue underglaze design to the underside.
