An original oil painting on masonite Taos by well listed California artist Thomas L. Lewis (1907-1978). This Impressionistic painting depicts the Taos landscape under a setting sun. The artist has rendered the landscape with bold swathes of pigment culminating in a dynamic composition. This painting is signed and titled to the lower right. It is presented in a gold-tone composite frame with cast embellishments. The verso of this piece is equipped to hang.
