A reproduction print on paper titled Ignorance = Fear, Silence = Death, 1989 designed by iconic American artist Keith Haring (1958-1990). This print depicts three yellow figures on a red ground in Haring’s iconic style, with pink X’s on their chests and their hands making the ‘see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil’ motions. The titular text is written in blue stripes along the top and bottom edges, with a pink triangle and ‘Fight AIDS, ACT UP’ in the lower right. This piece served as activist artwork to support the fight against HIV and AIDS. It is signed and dated ‘89’ in plate to the lower right side, and presented unframed.
