Hand-Knotted Persian Karaja Wool Carpet Runner for Persepolis Rugs
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Karaja wool carpet runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, rose, sky blue, black, white, and camel. The cranberry colored field begins with seven medallions in rectilinear and hexagonal shapes, along with an abundance of geometrically shaped floral motifs. Framing the field is a main florette patterned border, as well as chained guard borders. Finishing the field are overcast selvedges and a white warp fringe to the ends, along with a vinyl band to the edges underside. Labeled ‘Persepolis Rugs’.
