Antique Leather and Wood Shaker Style Boxes
Item Details
A pair of antique leather and wood boxes in the style of Shaker boxes. One features black leather and the other features brown leather, with similar oblong styles and wooden tops and bottoms. There are no discernible maker’s marks.
Condition
- leather is dry and cracked in spots; some holes in the leather of the black box; both boxes have seen repair with modern silver tone tacks around the tops; extensive dryness, scratches, cracks and wear noted to the wood.
