Denny Dent was a visual and performance artist known for his large scale paintings. The artist’s process was as much a part of the art as the finished painting was. Dent famously ‘speed painted’ his works in exuberant and frenetic performances. These performances consisted of Dent painting with multiple brushes in both hands as he painted to the beat of music. Today, Dent’s works can be found in a variety of private collections.
