Hand-Painted Aboriginal-Style Stoneware Platters
Item Details
A pair of hand-painted Aboriginal-style platters. These plates are in the style of the Aboriginal arts of Australia. They have complex patterning of organic shapes in with a focal point with black and white hues. One plate has a motif of a lizard in stylized form while the other plate has a floral patterning across the surface. The illustrative motifs sit on the vibrantly colored and gradated ceramic surfaces. These items appear to be unmarked.
