Item Details
A hand-knotted and carved Chinese floral area rug. This plush wool rug begins with a central floral cameo in a palette of salmon, pink, mauve and stone blue over a scarlet field. Framing the field is a wide, broken main border grounded in cream and filled with images of flowers and foliage. The rug finishes with overcast selvedged edges, a kilim skirt and knotted warp fringe to each end. It is unlabeled.
