A signed crystal owl paperweight by Swedish designer Mats Jonasson (1945-). This piece features a flat back and face cast in the likeness of an owl with frosted facial disks, diminutive beak, and delicate feather details. The piece is marked to the base: ‘M J Sweden’ with a series of four numerals. Jonasson has previously designed for Kosta Boda and is currently the head designer and director of Målerås.
