An antique pine knockdown wardrobe. This mid 19th century handmade German pine schrank or wardrobe rises on high block feet under a base, having a pair of two panel doors with metal escutcheons under a segmented pediment carved in the center with foliage. The wardrobe, with the use of a wrench, breaks down into seven pieces for easy moving. There is no apparent maker’s mark.
