A copy of The Illustrated Polyglot Family Bible: Containing the Old and New Testaments, Together with the Apocrypha, Concordance, and Psalms in Metre, published by H. R. Goodspeed & Co. of New York and Chicago circa 1869. This illustrated family Bible is bound in full leather with gold tone latches, gilt page edges and ornate gilt cover decoration, including the name ‘Eliza A. Caben’ at the center of the front cover. This Bible includes handwritten notes on the ‘Marriages’ page and eight black-and-white photographs in the ‘Family Portraits’ section. Included with the book is an adjustable wooden book display stand.
