Item Details
A silver plate coffee and tea set by Wilcox Silver Plate Co., a subsidiary of International Silver Co. This four-piece set features the Paisley pattern with a floral and scrolled foliate design to the body and footed base, as well as foliage accenting the handles and spouts. It includes a coffee pot, teapot, covered sugar bowl, and creamer. These pieces are stamped with the Wilcox maker’s mark on the underside, ‘International S. Co.’, and the pattern number. The lot also includes a Wilcox Silver Plate Co. rectangular gallery tray featuring engraving scrolled foliage to the center, four cocktail forks, one spoon, and two flat handle butter spreaders by 1847 Rogers Bros. in the Ambassador pattern, and a candle snuffer with a turned wooden handle.
