An oil painting on board of quails by listed artist John W. Taylor. This painting depicts a flock of the aforementioned birds perched near clusters of tall grass, looking at a singular object off to the distance. They leave behind small foot prints amidst mounds of grass. To the lower right corner of the composition is a painted signature. The painting is presented in a stained and black wooden frame featuring a linen liner and gold tone fillet with an etched placard to the lower center. To the verso is affixed hanging wire.
