Item Details
A watercolor painting on paper by California artist Edna Carter (20th-century). The piece depicts a southwestern desert landscape, with a small adobe dwelling offset with colorful scrubland vegetation and distant purple mountains. The work is signed in grey paint to the lower right. It is double-matted in off-white and presented under glass in a gold tone metal frame fitted with hanging wire to the verso.
Condition
- slight toning to paper and matting; minor wear and scratching to frame; glass could be cleaned more thoroughly.
