A Wyatt Earp replica revolver from The Franklin Mint. Included is a replica of Wyatt Earp’s .44 Smith & Wesson American Model revolver, finished in nickel plate and embellished with hand-engraved scrollwork. This gun is for display purposes only and is not designed to receive or discharge ammunition. A certificate of authenticity dated 1982 states that at the time of issue this was the only authorized replica, and that this gun includes the smallest details of the original such as a shallow diagonal gouge on the barrel, a notch in front of the trigger, a missing screw on the butt, and the serial number ‘20029’ on the underside of the handle. This piece is presented in a fitted box, with a color page providing more information on the original gun, a small booklet titled Gunfight At The OK Corral, and a certificate of authenticity.
