1928 Horsman "Mama" Composition Doll and Ideal's "LIttle Miss Revlon"

A pair of vintage composition and vinyl dolls. Featured is a 1928 Horsman Mama doll with a composition swivel shoulder plate head topped by a blonde mohair wig, tin sleep eyes with painted lashes, dimpled rosy cheeks, and parted red lips that reveal teeth. She wears a white blouse and purple dress over a jointed cloth stuffed body, and the back of her neck is embossed ‘E.I. H & Co. Inc.’. Additionally, a 1950s Ideal Little Miss Revlon doll with rooted auburn hair, blue sleep eyes with real lashes, and bright red lips. She wears a dark red dress, white tights, and white shoes, and is impressed on the back of her neck with ‘Ideal Doll, VN 92’.
Condition
- significant wear to hair piece of “Rosebud” doll and crier function untested; minor wear and markings to Ideal doll and clothing.
