An oil painting on canvas of an abstract composition by Louis Papp (New York; born 1930), dated 1993. The work uses contrasting orange tones offset by a dark blue and green background. To the verso, the painting is signed and dated. The work is presented freestanding without a frame.

Louis Papp was a New York based artist known for his abstract, mixed media paintings. He was also a member of the Art Students League, a renowned and respected art school headquartered in Manhattan in the 1970’s and 80’s.
