An antique hand painted ceramic plaque by German artist Franz Schier (1852-1922) after a painting titled La Bagage De Croquemitaine by German artist Timoleon Marie Lobrichon (1831-1914). The image features a detailed depiction of children playing in a basket. It is signed ‘Franz Schier-Munchen 1885’ to verso.
