A watercolor painting on paper of a rural scene by listed artist Gale Stockwell (1907 – 1983). This painting depicts a group of three kids talking on a wide, snaking road that is aligned with various trees and shrubbery. To the distance, the road forks towards a building featuring a steeple. To the lower right corner of the composition is a painted signature. The painting is presented under glass beneath matting in a mustard yellow wooden frame with hanging wire and two typed statements to the verso.

- discoloration to mat; frame has surface wear with chips and paint loss.
