Victorian-Style Porch Spindlework

Item Details

A vintage piece of Victorian-style porch spindlework, commonly referred to as ‘gingerbread.’ This piece in the folk Queen Anne or Stick style features turned, block, and bead spindle details, as well as dentil molding to the base. Two hooks for hanging are attached to the top.

Condition

- broken wooden pieces; corners are unattached; bottom right bracket missing; many blocks cracked or damaged; paint residue to wood.
