An oil painting on canvas titled Red Flowers and Basket by listed Oklahoma artist Kay Henderson (b. 1954). This work features a still life arrangement of various Southwestern objects including a woven basket, a ceramic bowl filled with vibrant red flowers, and some red peppers set on a fabric covered surface. The painting is signed ‘K. Henderson’ to the lower left. It is presented unframed.

Kay Henderson was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and is known for her detailed western, equestrian, and Native American portraits inspired by her Native American heritage. She has won many awards and is a member of the Oil Painters of America, National Oil and Acrylic Painter Society (NOAPS) Signature member, International Guild of Realism, and Single Action Shooters Society (SASS).
