An artist’s proof serigraph on paper of an architectural scene by listed French artist Jacques Lamy (1946-2016). The work depicts a light blue-grey house framed by palm trees against a burnt orange sky. It is unsigned and unframed with a publisher’s blind stamp to the verso.
Jacques Lamy was born in France near the Loire Valley in 1946. He received his formal artistic training at Ecole Nationale Superieur des Arts Decoratifs in Paris. Lamy worked as an artist, designer, and art teacher. His career allowed him to travel to Spain, Africa, and the United States.
