Vintage Porcelain Ballerina Figurines with Mirrored Stand
Item Details
A pair of Muller Volksted porcelain ballerina figurines with a mirrored stand. Each dancer wears a ruffled white tutu or skirt and one dances with yellow toe shoes, the other with violet slippers. They are clothed in yellow and violet costumes with one having a bouquet on her skirt, the other carrying a garland of flowers. The lithe figures pose on round gilt accented pedestals which are marked underneath with a blue crown stamp and ‘Germany’. The oval mirror is covered at the base with a composite material.
Condition
- frosted, dusty effect on mirror is underneath glass.
