Created for the 1949 Christmas season, this figurine depicts the Madonna, wrapped in a floor-length baby blue cloak and her head encircled by a halo, showing a small flower to her divine Child. It is stamped with ‘M.J. Hummel’ along the base, with the Hummel ‘bee’ logo and the pattern number 10/1 to the underside, along with the source nation of ‘Germany’.
