A pair of vintage Rookwood basset hound bookends. These figural bookends feature bassett hound puppies on rectangular pedestal bases, glazed in an opalescent gunmetal glaze. The bookends are hallmarked to their base with the traditional Rookwood flame mark, mold number 2998 and Roman numeral date XXXIII (1933).
