Antique French Arts and Crafts Oak Buffet

Item Details

An antique French Arts and Crafts oak buffet. This rectilinear incised carved oak buffet with beech secondary wood breaks into two parts for moving. The upper part has three glazed doors over the open work area with a mirror back on the beveled top of the lower part of the buffet, which features two aligned drawers over two larger doors enclosing a shelved storage area. The entire buffet is fitted with embossed brass hinges and pulls and rests on the tapered corners with incurvate spandrels. No apparent maker’s mark.
