A vintage carved teak Chinese bar. This Chinese bar has two folding doors over a work space on the top which reveals a carved Chinese scene under a piece of glass, the top over two carved panels on the front of the foldout doors on the front of the cabinet depicting four traditionally dressed Chinese ladies in a formal garden which when open reveal a well fitted cabinet inside, with the two doors in the reverse each fitted with four wine glass spaces and eight spaces for sauces and tonics, with the interior having two shelves on the right and two stacked drawers under a revolving door which contains spaces for five bottles and hanging spaces for five long stemmed glasses, the two sides of the cabinet each depicting two traditionally dressed Chinese ladies in a formal garden, with the entire bar on a raised plinth. No apparent maker’s mark.
