A pair of hand-colored wood engraving maps on laid paper of Jan Jansson’s maps Tabula Magellanica and Nova Belgica et Anglia Nova. The maps depicts a late 17th-century topographical view of the southern tip of South America and the coast of Northeast America. A decorative cartouche is found to the corners. Presented as a loose worth without a frame or mat.

Condition

- to fair; overall toning to the paper; crease from being previously folded; graphite and ink inscriptions to the papers.
