Chinese Ming Dynasty Stoneware Wine Jug
Item Details
A Chinese Ming Dynasty stoneware wine jug. This piece features an extended neck with an applied strap handle. The reservoir is a low, rounded ovoid form with a lightly-carved scalloped pattern. The jug is glazed in several shades of layered eggshell white gloss glaze. There are no discernible maker’s marks.
Condition
- glazing imperfection to shoulder and body, some imperfections to underside.
