Porcelain Salt Cellars Including Vintage Limoges and Royal Austria
Item Details
An assortment of vintage porcelain salt cellars. The pair of Oscar & Edgar Gutherz salt cellars feature hand-painted pink rose designs to the oval forms with light blue band borders. They were made between 1898-1918 and are marked ‘O. & E. G. Royal Austria’ to the underside. The heart form Bawo and Dotter pieces display delicate pink floral patterns and gilding to the subtle scalloped edges. They were produced between 1900-20 and are marked ‘Elite/Limoges.’ Also included are an Elfinware leaf form cellar and a piece marked ‘made in Germany.’
Condition
- some wear to gilding on edges; minor spots; discoloration to undersides.
