An abstract oil painting on canvas Coastal by Cincinnati based contemporary artist Sarah Brown. This abstract composition is composed of textured layers of oil paint in pigments reminiscent of the colors of the sea with an implied horizon line toward the top of the composition. This painting is unframed and awaits your choice of presentation. The verso of this piece is signed and dated (’17) by hand in paint.

Brown studied Fine Arts and Art History at the University of Hartford and Hartford Art School. She continued her studies with several nationally and internationally recognized artists while establishing her own mode of Abstract Impressionism. Her work has been accepted to and received awards at several group and solo shows and is currently on display in public and private collections throughout the Northeast. Sarah is now a resident of Cincinnati and finds the city a great inspiration. She currently works from her studio at the Pendleton Art Center.
