An abstract oil painting on canvas Nightfall by Cincinnati based contemporary artist Sarah Brown. This abstract composition, inspired by the setting sun, is composed of nebulous fields of color in pink, yellow, purple, and blue with areas of accent in white. The sides of this piece are painted and it does not require framing. The verso of this piece is signed and dated(’17) by hand in ink.

Brown studied Fine Arts and Art History at the University of Hartford and Hartford Art School. She continued her studies with several nationally and internationally recognized artists while establishing her own mode of Abstract Impressionism. Her work has been accepted to and received awards at several group and solo shows and is currently on display in public and private collections throughout the Northeast. Sarah is now a resident of Cincinnati and finds the city a great inspiration. She currently works from her studio at the Pendleton Art Center.
