19th Century Dutch 800 Silver Tobacco Case
Item Details
A 19th century Dutch 800 silver tobacco case with a hinged lid and allover geometric pattern. The well designed case opens by depressing a button at the side, revealing an interior appropriate for either cigarettes or cigars. The case bears the 1842 date letter ‘H’ with makers initials ‘MV’ (?) at the inside top rim. The total weight is 4.950 ozt.
