Antique Eastlake Style Chair Pair

Item Details

A pair of matching antique Eastlake style side chairs, circa 1870-1900. These walnut chairs have a shaped arch to the center of the crest rail, with floral and whorl carved details and burl accents. The sties, hip supports, and apron all bear carved details, and the tapered legs are turned. The back rests and seats are padded, and have been reupholstered in rose damask. The front legs are raised on casters.
This pair comes with an appraisal written in 1991.
