A grouping of three vintage East Asian leaded copper imperial guardian lion sculptures. These pieces present stylized lions with mouths open and tails curled over their backs. The sculptures feature surface decorations including geometric patterns, scroll work and inlay. There are no apparent maker’s marks.

• This item has been examined and verified by an independent Graduate Master Geologist (DCCPLS).

Condition

- cracks around feet; oxidation and wear to surface of larger sculpture; crack to front leg of medium sized sculpture; loss to inlay; cracks, wear and oxidation to surface of smaller sculpture; cracks and loss to smaller sculpture.
