Mid Century Modern Franciscan "Starburst" Earthenware Tableware

A mid-century set of Franciscan Starburst earthenware tableware. Offered are thirty-eight pieces with an atomic, space-age star motif with red, green, and blue circular accents. Included are five dinner plates, three salad plates, five bread plates, four fruit bowls, two dessert bowls, six teacups, nine saucers, one creamer, one oval bowl, one serving dish, and one platter. This pattern was a part Franciscan’s ‘Modern Americana’ dinnerware promotion and was produced between 1954 – 1966. The pieces are marked ‘Franciscan Earthenware 563 Oven Safe/Color Fast’ to the underside.
