Quimper French Pottery

A collection of Quimper pottery. This collection includes one large serving platter, a large serving bowl, one medium size serving bowl, one small desert bowl and one divided serving dish with a handle. Each piece features a red and blue floral designs with green leaves, some with images of young girls boys surrounded by more blue and red flowers. The pieces are hallmarked ‘Quimper France.’ Quimper pottery originated in the Brittany area of France and was founded by Jean Baptiste Bousquet. It has been in operation for more than three hundred years.
