A pair of vintage to antique porcelain figurines by Samson. The couple with outstretched arms are each holding flowers in one hand. The female figurine is colorfully dressed in a peach head covering, yellow bodice with pink cuffs, a layered skirt in baby blue over a floral apron rimmed in gold and a black trimmed maroon skirt and purple shoes. The male has a black hat covering brunette hair, a jeweled tone frock coat, white cravat, flowered vest rimmed in gilt, aqua breeches, white stockings, and black shoes. Each is mounted on an oval base with gilded ornamentation and marked to the back with a gold anchor stamped ‘Germany’ to the underside.
