Vintage Magnavox "Regency Symphony" Stereo Cabinet with Radio and Record Player

Item Details

A vintage Magnavox ‘Regency Symphony’ stereo cabinet, model 1568, with an AM/FM radio and record player turntable. The cabinet is made of light colored solid woods and wood veneers. It has a hinged top to access the record player, which is marked ‘Garrard – AT6 Made in England’. The cabinet on the front has fabric covering the speakers, with a metal diamond lattice insert over the top. There is a push-button release switch on the right side of the cabinet, for access to the radio, and there are two shelves below. The radio is marked ‘Magnavox’ and it has a dial for both MC short wave and KC broadcast tuning, with a variety of dials for various settings. There is a ‘loop antenna’ on the back, marked with number 460582-2. The data plate on the back is marked ‘The Magnavox Company Incorporated – Fort Wayne, Indiana U.S.A. – Model 1568 – Serial 135808 – Style C101-410’.
