A vintage handcrafted Sunbonnet Sue Umbrella Girl applique quilt. This circa 1950’s pattern variation features a repeating figurative motif of a girl in a dress and bonnet carrying an umbrella and is constructed from a variety of fabric patterns and colors. It is machine appliqued and hand quilted. The quilt has a pink binding and white backing with no visible maker’s mark present.
