Early 20th Century Slag Glass Table Lamp

Item Details

An early 20th century slag glass table lamp. The lamp is topped by a domical, glass shade comprised of six bent, blue and purple panels and six straight, green panels, all of which are overlaid with openwork, landscape scenes. The shade rests on an orange-cream, polychromed base with two sockets. It is cast with stylized, geometric and foliate motifs and there are no maker’s marks.

- lamp powered on when tested; some minor surface wear and paint losses; re-wired at some point.
