Vintage Seymour Ironclad Scythe and Snath

Item Details

A vintage Seymour Ironclad scythe with snath. The tool was made circa 1930s in Seymour, Indiana. The snath has two handles along its curved length and retains part of the manufacturer’s label. The scythe has a curved blade with a fitting at the end of the handle that allows the angle to be adjusted.

Condition

- wear is consistent with age and use.
- tarnishing throughout.
- faded hallmark and sticker.
