An oil painting of the Virgin and Child, painted in the style of a religious icon. This piece depicts the haloed figures before a range of atmospheric mountains, the mother clad in a brocade dress and cloak, her infant wrapped in a patterned cloth. The young Christ holds a rosary in his extended hand, while the Virgin holds a red flower. This painting features raised accents to the rosary and the Virgin’s earrings and is mounted in a molded gold tone frame with a wire to its verso for hanging.

- some buckling to canvas and discoloration to verso; chip to frame at upper left corner; minor nicks and wear to frame.
