German Pewter Figural Wedding Cup

Item Details

A pewter German wedding cup. This features a round bowl cup suspended by garlands held up by a woman with a bell shaped skirt. This acts as a double cup, where the bride drinks from the bowl at the same time as the groom drinks from the goblet-skirt. It is marked ‘fenzinn ZM N’ under the bowl, and features scrolling foliate embellishment is shallow relief.

Condition

- some minor surface wear with faint markings and minimal tarnishing.
